KADEM Women Entrepreneurship Camp Award Ceremony was held today.
Women Entrepreneurship Camp award ceremony was held in Inovasy with the cooperation of Women and Democracy Association and TÜBİTAK-Marmara Teknokent. To the ceremony; Kocaeli Deputy Sezer Katırcıoğlu, Istanbul Deputy Ravza Kavakçı Kan, KADEM Deputy Chairman Sümeyye Erdoğan, Board Members Elif Esen and Sena İpşirli, TÜBİTAK-MARTEK General Manager Orhan Çömlek, project sponsors, camp participants, press members and many guests.
The idea of making plans one week before the award ceremony of the women entrepreneurs from all over Turkey, therefore, embarked on planning a lot about education. At the weekend, the entrepreneur women, who explained their projects before the award ceremony, won the appreciation of the jury members with the ideas they produced in different fields.

At the award ceremony, which started with the opening speech of TÜBİTAK-Marmara Teknokent General Manager Orhan Çömlek, Vice President of KADEM Sümeyye Erdoğan also made a greeting speech. Stating that everything has just begun despite the end of a program, Sümeyye Erdoğan said, “Here we will refresh our entrepreneurship spirit and head towards new projects.”

I would like to thank TÜBİTAK officials who have contributed to the organization of this “Women in Innovation” themed entrepreneurship camp from the very beginning, my colleagues at KADEM, entrepreneurial spirits and all our sponsors who contributed to the emergence of good ideas. of the energy they add to all of us
Our achievements during the camp showed us, as Proust said, “a new discovery requires new eyes, not new places.” Really, it’s all about taking a fresh look at the world we live in and the environment we live in. Didn’t we see this in our camp?
Entrepreneurs have emerged among those who can look at things that everyone finds very mundane and routine, turn opportunities into opportunities and, most importantly, take risks. On this occasion, I congratulate all young entrepreneurs who were selected among hundreds of applicants and qualified to participate in this camp.
The most important aspect of this camp is women’s presence in entrepreneurship and innovation. As an NGO that first sees women as human beings, KADEM tends to treat everyone with experience, vision and project as a whole, and wants to restore women’s rights that have been neglected for centuries and incorporate them into its structure. economic, social and cultural field. Since men and women are two complementary genders, we want to eliminate the gap that may arise from the lack of a female perspective in the field of enterprise and innovation.
Just as entrepreneurship is the only way of economic development, women’s entrepreneurship is one of the most important ways for women’s economic development. Here, I would like to remind you that in the entrepreneurship ethics literature, it is claimed that women entrepreneurs comply more with ethical values. In this respect, women will make a great contribution to the field of entrepreneurship in terms of values. I also believe that women will undertake a transformative mission in the business world with their practicality and strong intuition in problem solving.

Entrepreneurship points to a chain of action that feeds each other on behalf of both our personal life and the institutions we are a part of and our country. Successful entrepreneurship activities will contribute to the creation of employment areas in the country, the acceleration of economic growth, the emergence of new industries, and therefore the change and development of the society.
Turkey in front of the net and I think it has a very big potential in this sense. Entrepreneurs in every step we take our young population, will be the seeds of Turkey towards further growth target. And our women in Turkey will get more visible.
Of course, we can see entrepreneurship as an action that shapes people’s mental and moral attitudes, rather than just an economic and development issue.
The creator wants to see many beautiful qualities he has given man on human beings. Human beings are surrounded by a lot of equipment, such as assertiveness, courage, competition, risk-taking, learning from mistakes and activating intuition. And God wants these mental and physical abilities to be dynamic in man and to see their manifestation.
